Buyer beware! I was a buyer from New Jersey and I depended on the honesty of the agency and accuracy of the listing info but after closing I found out that the listing was a complete fabrication. My dream home is a nightmare home where everything breaks constantly. Half the back yard flooded away after the first rain- they did not disclose water problems. Listing agent should be aware of wetlands & potential flooding in this area. I discovered from neighbors that the home has been subject to flooding for years and years. Selma Collier's listing (which was also on Zillow ) stated "Creekfront property" but when I started a path to the creek neighbors reported me for wetlands violations - I have a DEA violation. Within one week after closing, water pipes burst inside the walls causing damage to the sheet rock & carpets. Soon after AC, the hot water heater, toilets, the garage door, kitchen cabinet doors broke. Selma Collier insisted the home would not be purchased for less then $ 460k (asking $475) . She refused to submit a lower bid to the seller. I paid almost full price for a lemon or a poorly remodel flipper? Listing : "imagine your children playing in the woods" we did imagine ourselves playing in the woods with our nieces and nephew's but that will never happen because too late I learned it is wetlands.
