I went into Lapels Dry Cleaning on Monday of this week. I brought in a brand new dress shirt, pants, and evening dress for them to dry clean and press for me. I asked if they could be ready by Wednesday for a Christmas event we had and I was assured there wouldn't be any issues with them having them done. Well, I came in after lunch on Wednesday to pick them they couldn't find the dress shirt ANYWHERE! After seeing two different employees fumble through their racks, I obviously became nervous. I stood there for over 30 minutes before they found the item. Not only did I not receive any sort of apology, the staff acted as though it wasn't their problem. Once I got home, I realized that not only was my dress wrinkled, but his dress shirt looked as though it hadn't been touched! The bottom of the shirt was worse than when I took it in. There were wrinkles everywhere. I'm writing this to warn future customers of their unprofessional staff as well as their lack of providing appropriate services, as promised.
Best drycleaning service in all of Jacksonville area!!! Excellent service with people who actually care that your clothes are CLEAN. Attention to detail so you don't turn your clothes in with spots and stains and then get them back the same way. Lapels is the VERY BEST!!!
The NEW owner has definitely "stepped his game up" I am beyond satisfied...He and his team has not only met but went above my expectation. The old owners NEVER picked up my laundry on time. It was always a hit or miss. With the NEW owner I never have to worry about it. 100% reliable/dependable....I recommend then to family, friends, co-works. BEST DRY CLEANING IN FI!!!! Not a fan. Brought in a special jacket and showed them the spots that needed attention. Within 24 hours get the email that it's ready. Go to pick it up, spots still there. They try to fix it while I wait. I'm like, I brought it in for the spots specifically. Told them to keep it til they got it out. No one calls for 5 days. I drive up there and the girl knew which jacket it was. Spot is gone.
