The fried gator tail is terrific. Definitely a must order. The food is the best around. And the service is great also. I highly recommend this place.
A great little place on the water, Whitey's Fish Camp is a Clay County tradition. My family and I have been going to Whitey's for lunch and dinner over 45 years. On their menu, they have something for everyone. My favorites are their fried catfish and their salad topped with blackened Mahi.
We had the best waiter tonight, Pat. He was there when we needed him and left us alone the rest of the time. The shrimp basket was fantastic and the red beans and rice had large chunks of sausage. It was delicious. Daughter had the fish tacos and loved them. We will go back. There are a number of items on the menu that I want to try. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food also
Great food and experience. Totally enjoyed a nice lunch in an old style environment on the water. The fried clams were tasty and meaty. Hard to find these days. The fried shrimp was perfectly cooked and not over cooked like is often found. We'll definitely be back. The red beans with sausage and rice were really good too!
We always have fun, great food, drink's. Everyone should go at least once. I'm sure you will, put it on your list of favorite restaurants. Inside, outside dining, outside tiki bar. Go by car or go by boat. There is a boat ramp & a bait shop too. Go see for yourself, Enjoy.
